How do I know if home care is right for my
loved one?
Home care is often the right fit when someone needs help staying safe and comfortable at home but doesn’t need full-time facility care. Common signs include difficulty with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, or medications; safety concerns such as falls or forgetfulness; or family caregivers who are stretched too thin to help consistently. If your loved one values staying in familiar surroundings, home care lets them keep their independence with the right support. Many families start with just a few hours a week and adjust as needs change.
What services do you provide?
We provide personal care and daily living support to help your loved one stay safe and comfortable at home, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility. We also offer Personal Assistance, Respite care to give family caregivers a break, and Community Integration to help individuals build the skills and confidence to be active in their community. What families notice most about us is our constant communication — we keep you informed and involved every step of the way.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes. We accept Medicaid for eligible participants and work with several programs, including the ACT 150 Program, the OBRA Waiver, and the Community Health Choices (CHC) Waiver. If you’re unsure which program fits your loved one or whether they qualify, we’re happy to help you understand your options and connect you with the right resources.
Can I choose my caregiver?
Yes. You’re welcome to choose your own caregiver — including a family member or someone you know, where eligible. If you’d prefer us to match you, we’ll take time to understand your loved one’s needs, personality, and preferences and pair them with a caregiver who’s a good fit. Either way, if it’s ever not the right match, just let us know and we’ll make it right.
How quickly can care begin?
It depends on your situation. If your loved one is already approved for Medicaid, care can often begin within a few days. If they still need to apply for Medicaid first, it takes longer, since we have to wait for the application and approval process to be completed. Either way, we’ll guide you through each step and move as quickly as possible.
Do you provide care on weekends or overnight?
Yes. We offer flexible scheduling, including weekends and overnight care, so your loved one has support whenever they need it.
